In order to participate in this second session “Taking an Honest and Spiritual Inventory”, you must have completed the first study book along with the steps … this means having gone through Study 1 anywhere … not necessarily the one that was just finished at Diane’s house. This is an ongoing program and each person needs to work through the principles at their own speed.
WHAT IS IT?
PURPOSE: The purpose of “Celebrate Recovery” is to allow us to become free from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. By working through the eight principles of recovery based on the Beatitudes, we can and will change! We will begin to experience the true peace and serenity that we have been seeking. We will no longer need to rely on our dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviors as a temporary “fix” for our pain.
STUDY BOOKS: Will be ordered by Diane/Karen to make sure each person has the current copy (Cost is $5.49) – “Celebrate Recovery Guide #2 – Taking an Honest and Spiritual Inventory”

You have completed the first three principles to the best of your ability: you have “gotten right with God.” Now as you prepare to work Principle 4, you begin the journey of “getting right with yourself”.
By applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, restitution, prayer, quiet time, witnessing, and helping one another found within the eight principles, we will restore or develop stronger relationships with others and God. Recovery is not an overnight phenomenon, but more like a journey.
Come relax, have a cup of tea, dress comfy, and be blessed. Massages, manicures, pedicures, paraffin lavender hot wax and other pampering treatments are set up.
