MORE THAN A CARPENTER

BY JOSH MCDOWELL

Our church-wide small group study and Sunday service topic focused on "More Than A Carpenter" by Josh McDowell. Josh McDowell thought Christian must be "out of their minds". He put them down. He argued against their faith. Eventually he saw that his arguments wouldn't stand up. In More Than a Carpenter, Josh focuses upon the person who changed his life - Jesus Christ. This book addresses the skeptic's questions regarding Jesus' deity, his resurrection, and his claims on their lives.

The first six Sundays were devoted to a study of More Than A Carpenter through preaching and weekly teaching in small groups on the following subjects:

"Do Christian Worship Three Gods?"
"Is the Bible Accurate?"
"Is the Resurrection Believable?"
"Is Jesus the Messiah?
"Is Jesus the Only Way?"
"Did Jesus Change Lives?"
