Welcome one and all to Ohio Valley Baptist Church. Founded in 1904 in Ledbetter, Kentucky, we are a family of Christian Brothers and Sisters striving to follow our Lord Jesus Christ while being firmly grounded in the unwavering truth of God’s Holy Scriptures as defined in the Holy Bible. We are committed to sharing the Good News gospel by word and by example in our church, community, and beyond. We promote and support national and international ministries with those laboring on the mission field and evangelistic frontlines to reach those lost, glorifying the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Ohio Valley Baptist Church observes Southern Baptist doctrine and maintains active membership in the Ohio River Baptist Association.

Our church family seeks adherence to the commandment of our Lord, as written in John 13:34, to love one another as God loved us, extending that love to all that grace the doors of Ohio Valley Baptist Church. We foster a family-oriented atmosphere of worship for all to feel welcome in the House of the Lord. We are a teaching church working with all age groups in pursuit of God’s intended interpretation of the scriptures toward a deeper understanding of His Holy Word. Ohio Valley Baptist Church has an obligation to God, the church’s founders, and the many generations of Christian believers who precede us to minister to the lost, sharing with them a loving God and Savior and how to consistently “feed His sheep.”
